Wedding Fridays?!

Hi everyone, I'm back from my vacation and ready for blogging! Just wanted to thank the Store staff for doing an awesome job of blogging while I was away (good photos, too!)

So, I'm doing my Wedding Wednesdays post for Friday this week - you can look at as I'm either late for this week or I'm early for next week... I'll go with the latter!! Anyways, this week's post is showcasing custom printed labels and how to use them for your wedding or special event.

Custom labels can be printed with the bride and groom's names and wedding date. You can also add a graphic, such as these two hearts, to your labels.

You can also choose different shapes for your custom printed labels such as ovals, rectangles and hearts to name a few.

A wide range of colours are available for your custom printed labels; choose from classic gold or silver to more contemporary black or brown.

It's easy to co-ordinate your custom printed labels with our favour boxes and ribbon.

Don't forget, you can also use your custom printed labels to seal your wedding invitations. Our labels are "peel and stick" so they can be used on almost any surface. This is a nice way to carry your theme / colours through the entire event.

For more information about our custom printed labels, please visit our website or contact the Store directly.

Thanks and take care!
Anna

Antonella's "Staff Pick" is...

gift wrap!

Who doesn't love tearing off the giftwrap to reveal 'the gift'.

Soooo much more fun than tossing 'the gift' into a gift bag.

I love giving gifts that are wrapped, ribboned and tagged! I always put a lot of thought into them so I want them to look fabulous on the outside too. Our premium quality giftwrap can be easily matched to one (or two if you like) of our beautiful ribbons.

Obviously I have a bit of an advantage working at Essential Packaging.

We have over 40 styles of giftwrap to choose from!

There are solids, patterns, metallics and seasonal giftwrap available in 85' bulk rolls and smaller consumer rolls, (3 yard cuts because we know you can't leave with just one). We also have giftwrap that is 100% recycled.

So the next time you give... give fabulously!

Robin's Staff Pick of the week is...

I have chosen the hand made paper because of it's versatility. Not only is it lovely as an accent for invitations, cards and scrapbooking projects you can really use your imagination with it.

A simple band of handmade paper underneath a ribbon on a favor box gives it an extra pop of color. Try wrapping the lid of a two piece box and it takes on a whole new look.

It doesn't take much to completely change the look of something, just have fun with it.

Robin

Thanks again lori e and muddy boot dreams for popping in today to pick up your prizes.

It was so nice to
meet you both! We hope you enjoy your goodies.

Nadia and Lisa we are still waiting for your contact info to send out your prizes.

Until next time...

Antonella

Wedding Wednesday by Cathy- Choosing Your Wedding Favour

Presentation often creates a lasting impression, sometimes more than the item inside the packaging. A beautiful presentation often adds to the perceived essential value of the item.

Try to remember one of the most beautifully gift-wrapped presents you've received over the years. You may remember the gift wrap, but have no idea what was inside the package. That's the power of packaging.

If you're giving one favour per person, incorporate the favours into the table setting. If you're giving one favor per couple or per family, ask your attendants to distribute the favours as your guests leave at the end of the reception.

There are a variety of wonderful wedding favours th at you can make yourself or purchase. The key is to make it personal.Use card stock and ribbon to make a pretty paper tag which you can attach with a ribbon.Use a single hole punch to make a circle at the side or top of the tag and slide a piece of ribbon through the hole so it will be ready to tie to your wedding favors.

You may want to order custom printed labels.

Here are some ideas for wedding favours:
*Make your guests gourmet cookies or chocolates.
*Give guests a package of spring bulbs or flower seeds
accompanied by growing instructions.
*Make handmade aromatherapy candles, soaps or jam.
*Make a CD of your wedding playlist & package in a decorated CD case

Thanks for reading my first blog post

Cheryl's Staff Pick♦

Welcome to our first installment of Staff Pick!!
My pick is definitely something I can't keep my hands off of....I am always the first to snap up this item by the yard when we get in new patterns, colours and styles..I always gravitate towards it without thinking....and as Anna knows, when I am doing the ordering I find it hard not to add a little extra to the order.

If you haven't guessed it yet my staff pick!! this week is Ribbon

We carry satin, sheer, curling ribbon, wraphia, grosgrain, twill, twine, tulle, chording, pull bows and stretch loops...just to name a few. They come in a vast array of colours, widths, styles and patterns. They can be used for bows on gifts, added accents to cards and scrapbooking or to be used in your favourite sewing project.

When it comes to ribbon I am like a kid in a candy store. Here are a few pictures of our huge selection of ribbon. Next time you are looking for ribbon why not try The Essential Packaging Store.

Thanks for stopping by...Cheryl
